Disney + Original HSMTMTS star, Olivia Rodrigo has had quite the year! Dominating the charts and being crowned Variety's songwriter of the year are just two her biggest achievements so far. However, it's now rumoured that Olivia may be releasing her own documentary with Disney Plus! Here's what we know so far...

Release Date?

There's still no official release date for the special, but as it's still in the stages of filming it's highly likely the documentary will be released in the first half of 2022!

Plot?

It's now been 6 months since Rodrigo's debut album 'SOUR' was released. It's likely the documentary could follow Olivia through the writing and promoting process of the album as Olivia has been spotted with a camera crew at her 'SOUR' car wash event, the 'SOUR' prom and on set for the 'traitor' music video.

A source close to Olivia's team has confirmed there is a documentary coming and the same source was correct about the 'traitor' music video and a few of Olivia's other projects!

Is Olivia Releasing A Second Album?

Again, nothing is 100% but recently on Jimmy Fallon, Olivia was asked about a second album and she nervously avoided the question and stated that she is working on it but it's her secret for now. So, the documentary could also be following this process of Olivia recording her second album.
